Subject + 越来越 + Adj / verb of feeling
越来越 + adjective describes a gradual change: 天气越来越冷 (it's getting colder and colder).
As with 比, no 很 before the adjective. A final 了 often underlines the change: 越来越冷了.
It also works with verbs of feeling: 我越来越喜欢这个城市.
Examples
天气越来越冷了。
Tiānqì yuè lái yuè lěng le.The weather is getting colder and colder.
白天越来越短。
Báitiān yuè lái yuè duǎn.The days are getting shorter and shorter.

Common mistakes
✗ 越来越很冷 → ✓ 越来越冷.
