尽管 + fact，(但是/可是) + Subject + 还是 / 却 / 也 + …
尽管 (jǐnguǎn) = "although, even though (it's true)". Like 虽然, it introduces a real fact that could have prevented the result, but the result happens anyway.
尽管 is a bit stronger and more written than 虽然. The second clause often has 但是 / 可是 and/or 还是 / 却 / 也.
Reminder: for a hypothesis, use 即使……也, not 尽管.
Examples
尽管大家都反对，他还是坚持自己的意见。
Jǐnguǎn dàjiā dōu fǎnduì, tā háishi jiānchí zìjǐ de yìjiàn.Although everyone objected, he stuck to his opinion.
尽管我不同意你的看法，但是我尊重你。
Jǐnguǎn wǒ bù tóngyì nǐ de kànfǎ, dànshì wǒ zūnzhòng nǐ.Although I disagree with you, I respect you.
尽管很累，她还是把报告写完了。
Jǐnguǎn hěn lèi, tā háishi bǎ bàogào xiěwán le.Tired as she was, she still finished writing the report.
Common mistakes
✗ 尽管明天下雨，我也去。 → hypothesis: ✓ 即使明天下雨，我也去。
✗ 尽管……所以…… → 尽管 is a concession, not a cause.
