Subject + 把 + A + Verb + 成 / 作 + B
When an action turns A into B, or you take A for B, use 把 A + V + 成 B:
- 切成小块: cut into small pieces
- 翻译成中文: translate into Chinese
- 看成 / 当成: mistake for, treat as
More written variant: 把 A 当作 / 看作 B (regard A as B): 他把我当作自己的家人。
