Subject + 一边 + V1，一边 + V2
一边 A 一边 B describes two actions done at the same time by the same person: "do A while doing B".
Both 一边 go before the verbs. In speech it's often shortened to 边…边…: 边吃边聊.
For two simultaneous qualities (adjectives), use 又…又… instead.
Examples
我们一边吃饭一边聊天吧。
Wǒmen yìbiān chī fàn yìbiān liáotiān ba.Let's chat over dinner.
他喜欢一边听音乐一边跑步。
Tā xǐhuan yìbiān tīng yīnyuè yìbiān pǎobù.He likes to run while listening to music.
别一边开车一边打电话！
Bié yìbiān kāichē yìbiān dǎ diànhuà!Don't talk on the phone while driving!
大家边喝茶边看节目。
Dàjiā biān hē chá biān kàn jiémù.Everyone watches the show while drinking tea.
Common mistakes
✗ 一边我吃饭一边我聊天 → ✓ 我一边吃饭一边聊天 (subject once, at the start).
✗ 一边高兴一边累 → ✓ 又高兴又累 (adjectives = 又…又…).
