似乎 ("it seems, apparently") is a more formal 好像. It expresses an impression or uncertain guess and usually goes after the subject.
像…似的 (似的 read *shìde*) makes a vivid comparison: "as if", "like". 似的 goes at the end of the comparison. Variants: 好像…似的 / 像…一样.

这个结论似乎有问题。
Zhège jiélùn sìhū yǒu wèntí.This conclusion seems to have a problem.

Common mistakes
✗ Reading 似的 as *sìde*: it's ✓ *shìde*.
✗ 像孩子似 → ✓ 像孩子似的 (don't drop 的).
✗ 似乎 in casual chat sounds bookish; 好像 is more natural with friends.
