In this pattern the first clause is an action done on purpose; the second starts with 好 and gives the purpose that the action makes possible or easy: 她每天给家里打电话，好让父母放心 (she phones home every day so that her parents won't worry). Here 好 is read hǎo and means “so as to, so that one can”.
The subject of the 好 clause is often someone else (好让你……, 好让父母……). If it is the same as in the first clause, it is left out: 你今晚早点睡，好明天有精神.
It is a spoken, relaxed turn, and the purpose always comes after the action. To put the purpose first, use 为了: 为了让父母放心，她每天给家里打电话. In formal writing people prefer 以便.
Examples
我把地址写在这里，好让你随时找到我。
Wǒ bǎ dìzhǐ xiě zài zhèlǐ, hǎo ràng nǐ suíshí zhǎodào wǒ.I'll write my address here so you can find me any time.
我给你留个电话号码，好随时联系。
Wǒ gěi nǐ liú ge diànhuà hàomǎ, hǎo suíshí liánxì.I'll leave you a phone number so we can get in touch any time.
她每天都给家里打电话，好让父母放心。
Tā měi tiān dōu gěi jiā lǐ dǎ diànhuà, hǎo ràng fùmǔ fàngxīn.She phones home every day so her parents won't worry.
请把窗户关上，好让房间暖和一点。
Qǐng bǎ chuānghu guān shàng, hǎo ràng fángjiān nuǎnhuo yìdiǎn.Please close the window so the room warms up a bit.
你今晚早点睡，好明天有精神。
Nǐ jīnwǎn zǎodiǎn shuì, hǎo míngtiān yǒu jīngshen.Go to bed early tonight so you'll be full of energy tomorrow.
老师把考试的时间写在黑板上，好让大家不会忘记。
Lǎoshī bǎ kǎoshì de shíjiān xiě zài hēibǎn shang, hǎo ràng dàjiā bú huì wàngjì.The teacher wrote the exam time on the blackboard so that nobody would forget it.
Common mistakes
✗ 好让父母放心，她每天打电话 → ✓ 她每天打电话，好让父母放心 (好 opens the second clause; to put the purpose first, say 为了让父母放心，她每天打电话).
✗ 我留了电话，好为了联系你 → ✓ 我留了电话，好联系你 (no 为了 after 好).
