被 / 叫 / 让……给V and 把……给V: 给 before the verb

In speech you can slip 给 right before the verb of a passive sentence (被 / 叫 / 让) or a 把 sentence: 杯子被他给摔碎了, 我把钱给花光了. The meaning does not change; 给 stresses that the thing was lost, spoiled or suffered, almost always with regret. As in an ordinary 被 or 把 sentence, the verb is followed by a complement (碎、走、光、掉, or at least 了).
The shape: O + 被 / 叫 / 让 + agent + 给 + V + complement and S + 把 + O + 给 + V + complement. The agent stays in (被他给……, never 被给……), 叫 and 让 are more colloquial than 被, and 给 always goes right before the verb, after 把 + object.
Do not mix it up with two other 给: the 给 “give to” (我给你钱) and the 给 that replaces 被 (杯子给他摔坏了). Here 给 is added to 被 / 叫 / 让 / 把, it does not replace them.
